FightBac: A campaign by the Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE)

PFSE is an non-profit organization that provides teachers useful tools for educating students on disease prevention related to food preparation

The Partnership for Food Safety Education unites industry associations, professional societies in food science, nutrition and health, consumer groups, and the U.S. government to educate the public. According to them, "There are four basic practices that can reduce the risk of getting food borne illnesses: clean, separate, cook, and chill." The FightBac campaign provides information related to safe handling habits of food. Also, it reinforces good personal hygiene practices and the prevention of food borne diseases.  There are a series of material downloads for educators that need fresh ideas for their lesson plans and classroom activities.
